The Host:

Newton Webb is a British horror author with fourteen published books. His collected works, Tales of the Macabre Volumes 1–3, contain tales of temptation, dread, and the hidden evils lurking beneath everyday life.

Inspired by splatterpunk and classic gothic themes, his fiction frequently blends visceral horror with psychological tension, reflecting influences ranging from heavy metal to ancient mythology.

Outside his writing career, Newton co-chairs the UK Chapter of the Horror Writers Association.

The Guest:

Roland Blake is a writer in the Horror and Suspense genre from the UK. For as long as memory permits, Roland has immersed himself in the strange and supernatural worlds of dark film and fiction. Perhaps too long. Growing up, he read everything from The Brothers Grimm to Stephen King or could often be found shut away watching re-runs of Hammer House of Horror and The Twilight Zone. Not a lot has changed. Now Roland writes his own macabre tales – atmospheric stories that often blend disturbing, psychological and creature horror with strong and intriguing characters.

He is the author of A Season of Horrors, a collection of four novellas of horror. Also, the psychological horror novel, The Evils We Keep and the-soon-to-be-released, Book 1 in The Beau Rickman Horrors, a supernatural series set in rural Sussex and Kent.

A native of London, Roland has spent his life searching for spiritual nirvana amidst an often fraught and chaotic world. He is still searching. He now lives in the Shires in the South-East of England with his family where he enjoys listening to the Owls hoot at night.
